American Software Enterprise Solutions is a integrated but modular series of applications for distribution planning, manufacturing, operations support and financial control. Designed to promote efficient movement of goods and services to the customer, the system supports advanced methods such as JIT, ECR, and ERS - in the multi-plant/location environment.
The Manufacturing applications provide effective decision support using sound, proven techniques embodied in the Manufacturing Resource Planning concept. When implemented, it will enable the manufacturer to increase productivity, reduce inventories, while raising customer service levels.
The System is designed to operate effectively in a variety of manufacturing environments - discrete, process and repetitive. With operational flexibility built-in, the System features true multi-plant capability, variable planning periods (days, weeks, or months) and reporting that is exception oriented. Additionally, the System incorporates features to effectively employ the Just-In-Time (JIT) philosophy. Implementation may provide a total, closed loop solution (including financial control applications) or interface with existing customer systems.
Planning Systems provide capabilities to convert system generated demand forecasts and orders into a master schedule, determine component and raw material requirements, analyze the feasibility of production and purchasing decisions, and provide accurate shipment date promises. Purchasing capabilities provide integrated control of the procurement process, including centralized requisitioning (manufacturing or issue) and thruway Procurement Matching. Customer Order Processing performs order entry and inquiry, promising, pricing, authorization, acknowledgments, invoice generation and warehousing activities. Financial applications provide integrated Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets capabilities.
The system provides year 2000 support and unlimited support in the multi-company/division, international environment - including multi-currency and multi-lingual. A graphical user interface is available for all applications.

Using the latest Internet technologies, the ECON suite of products will place you a step ahead of your competitors. By providing real time interfaces to your legacy systems and API interfaces to American Software's ERP systems (S/390, AS/400 and Intelliprise), your customers will now be able to browse a catalog, fulfill an order, submit expenses with receipts, and ore - anywhere, anytime.

The Accounts Payable System performs all of the accounting functions related to entering, matching, processing, paying and reporting vendor invoices. It is designed to provide maximum accountability, visibility and flexibility in the processing of invoices and printing of checks.
American Software's comprehensive Accounts Receivable System supports the combined needs of your customer service, marketing, financial and data processing areas, as well as those of credit and receivables management. The system features real-time open order and accounts receivables balances to determine credit availability. Customer Order Processing (COPS) effectively manages orders, from order entry, to shipping, to billing, according to consistent policies that take both organizational needs and customer requirements into account. Additionally, powerful allocation/sourcing rules supports off-the-shelf ordering, vendor supported items, and make-to-order events.
Integrated with COPS, Inventory Control & Accounting is a comprehensive system for controlling all materials - raw materials to finished goods.
